Yomud Rug, West Turkestan, late 19th century, the maroon field inset with "dyrnak" guls in ivory, gold, light red, and navy, within a double latch-hooked cruciform-patterned main border, multiple contiguous "S" in hexagon minor borders, elems with large stepped reciprocal ram's horn devices, 6 ft. x 3 ft. 7 in.
