Red-stained Birch Bird's Eye Maple and Mahogany Veneer Tall Case Clock, Frederick Wingate, Augusta, Maine, c. 1806, the iron white-painted polychrome and gilt dial with seconds hand and calendar aperture inscribed "F. Wingate/Augusta/No. 248" with an urn in the arch and shell spandrels, old surface, (minor restoration),ht. 90 in.
