Wedgwood Bone China Six-piece Tea Service, England, 1879, gilded and enamel decorated with prunus and fan decoration, including a covered tea kettle, ht. 7; covered teapot, ht. 3 3/4; covered sugar bowl, ht. 3; creamer, ht. 3 1/4; teacup and saucer; and octagonal tray, handle to handle lg. 18 1/4 in.; printed marks.

Provenance: Property of the Saint Louis Art Museum. Sold to benefit the acquisition fund.

Light and scattered gilt rim wear throughout.
Kettle: Restoration to cover and spout.
All else in very good condition with no evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations.
