Continental Rococo-style Vernis Martin and Ormolu-mounted Vitrine, late 19th/early 20th century, with arched crest and bombé glass front and sides, with a courtship scene of a woman and a blindfolded man with another couple, velvet-lined interior with three shelves, cabriole legs, ht. 87 1/2, wd. 35, dp. 16 in.

Craquelure to painted surface throughout. Minor chipped losses to surface, more prominent to craved and gilded areas (particularly feet). Some scattered cracks to gilded scrollwork and some minor joint separation. Crest with chipped loss and repair.
