Ten Plates from Pompeii
Inscribed "Giacomo Lenghi dis." or variations thereof within the matrices at the
lower edges, numbered and titled in ink on the reverse.
Hand-colored lithographs on paper, sheet sizes to 10 1/2 x 8 1/8 in. (26.6 x 20.5 cm),unmatted, unframed.
Condition: One with a tear, some with staining, sheets trimmed to slightly different sizes.
N.B. The book from which these lithographs have come has not been identified, although a reference was found at WorldCat.org for the following: Lenghi, G. (n.d.). Peintures de Pompei. Place of publication not identified: publisher not identified.

No. 26 has 1 in. tear and large stain to left edge that , No. 73 has spotting and stains in margins, No. 50 damp stained along bottom, No. 7 is trimmed close to image area (sheet 9 3/8 x 6 1/4 in.)
Ink inscriptions on the reverse are in an old-fashioned script, and the titles are written in Italian.
