Fortunino Matania (Italian, 1881-1963)

The Building of a Gothic Cathedral Signed "F. Matania" l.r., identified and dated "1934" on a typed label from Ginn and Company affixed to the frame backing paper.
Watercolor on paper/board, sight size 8 x 6 in., framed.
Condition: Not examined out of frame.

N.B. The label on the backing indicates that this watercolor was created for publication in Harold Ordway Rugg and Louise Krugger's book, Man at Work: His Arts and Crafts, published in 1937 by Ginn and Company.
