Pair of Empire Ormolu Six-light Candelabra, early 19th century, in the manner of Pierre-Philippe Thomire (1751-1843) with a central sconce encircled by five swan-form arms, the head of each swan supporting the vasiform nozzle, on a turned and tapered leaf-cast stem raised on a cylindrical flowerhead-cast socle with a fruit and flower collar on a square base, unsigned, ht. 29 1/4 in.

Lacking one bobeche to central sconce. Elements slightly loose, need to be screwed down. Scattered spots of verdigris. Some candle sconces bent slightly. Minor abrasions and nicks, particularly along foot. One candle sconce loose (screw possibly stripped or bent).
