Pair of Victorian Sterling Silver Entree Dishes, London, 1872-73, Stephen Smith, maker, each ovoid, each lid with a gadrooned rim, engraved armorial, and finial modeled as a whippet, the dish, lg. 14, each with a silver-plate warming stand, also Stephen Smith, lg. 15 in., approx. 106.5 troy oz. total weighable silver.

Scattered pinprick dents, minor abrasions throughout (particularly to lids where finial attach). Covers do not sit perfectly flush. Silver plated elements with rubbing to plating to protruding areas, abrasions to interior. The single liner with small dents throughout particularly the rim. One silver base with scattered minor dents to base and side. Otherwise good condition with no apparent engraving removal or restoration.
