Oil on panel, sight size 3 3/8 x 2 7/16 in. (8.6 x 6.1 cm),housed in a daguerreotype case.
Condition: Good.
Provenance: Ex collection of Charles Percy Parkhurst (1913-2008),Williamstown, Massachusetts. Parkhurst was a part of the so-called Williams Art Mafia. He worked as a museum curator, professor, and was one of the "Monuments Men."

Closed dimensions of the daguerreotype case are 4 3/4 x 3 7/8 x 1 in.
The yellowed varnish on the painting is assumed to be part of the artist's intention to suggest the patina of age.
