The Lamentation, from THE ENGRAVED PASSION, 1507 (Hollstein, 14; Meder, 14 a or b/c). Monogrammed and dated within the plate. Engraving on laid paper, sheet size 4 5/8 x 2 9/16 in. (11.6 x 6.4 cm),unmatted, unframed.
Condition: Trimmed almost to border, pale staining to edges and upper corners, pencil annotations to verso, old hinges at upper corners.

Provenance: Purchased from The Nasrudin Gallery, Boston, January 28, 1975; through to the current owner.
