Three Lacquered Malabar Boxes, India, 19th century or later, all rectangular, the covers with slanted sides to form two triangular and two trapezoidal sides, two decorated with geometric patterns and foliate scroll designs on red-lacquered bodies; and one with palmette leaf design and birds in fine detail, brass fittings, 7 1/4 x 10 3/8 x 8 to 8 x 12 3/4 x 8 1/2 in.
