Jade Dagger, China, 18th/19th century, possibly earlier, gui-shape blade and dragon-inspired handle, engraved with archaic scroll and dragon and incised details, translucent yellowish celadon stone with gray and white marks, lg. 6 1/2, wd. to 1 3/8 in.

Provenance: Formerly in the collection of mineralogist Frederick H. Plough (1907-2006).
