Flambe-glazed Vase, China, hu shape, resting on a short straight foot, white-glazed interior and base, unglazed footring, six-character Kangxi mark in a double ring to base, ht. 7 1/2, mouth dia. 3 1/4 in.

Provenance: Sold to benefit the acquisition fund of the Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire.

in good condition with some glazing defects, a firing crack to base, and surface scratches.
