Qingbai Tea Bowl, China, Song dynasty style, rounded cone-shape with slightly everted rim, resting on a short foot, decorated with floral and foliate anhua-type scrolls on the interior and softly impressed swirls on the exterior, the white glaze with pale celadon tint with craquelure, ht. 2 1/4, dia. 5 1/4 in.
Provenance: Sold to benefit the acquisition fund of the Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire.
