Chinese Verge Escapement Bracket Clock, c. 1860, rosewood case with mother-of-pearl inlay, glazed front sliding door, 5-in. porcelain dial, pierced steel hour, minute, and sweep second hands, brass dial surround, eight-day time and strike, chain fusee movement with crown-wheel and verge escapement, rear wind and set, short bob pendulum, all on a scroll-cut bracket, ht. 18 1/2 in.
