Silas Hoadley Pillar and Scroll Shelf Clock, Plymouth, Connecticut, c. 1825, mahogany scroll-top case with three brass urn finials, painted wood Roman numeral dial, raised gilt wreath and floral decoration, reverse-painted lower glass depicting a country estate, printed paper maker's label stating in part, Improved Clocks made by Silas Hoadly[sic], thirty-hour time and strike, wood movement with two iron weights, ht. 31 in.
Scroll original, feet original with some replace glue blocks, glass old replacement, two of the three finials glued into case, lacking pendulum .
