South Caucasian Prayer Rug, late 19th century, the narrow ivory field with a lattice of polychrome blossom palmettes below the mihrab with individual squares above, all within a double hooked "S" motif main border, stepped diamond, rosette and octagon-patterned minor borders, 5 ft. x 2 ft. 11 in.
