Derbend "Garden" Rug, Northeast Caucasus, early 20th century, the field comprised of a typical polychrome garden plan design inset at each end with an eight-pointed star in octagon and various geometric forms with an ivory double hooked cross motif border, all within a medium blue and ivory "kufic" main border, multiple reciprocal trefoil-patterned minor borders, 5 ft. 6 in. x 3 ft. 3 in.
