Algerian Embroidered Panel, North Africa, first half 19th century, comprised of an allover design of large royal blue and red floral palmettes with small blossoms and vines in hues of green, aubergine, and ivory outlined in black, all enclosing an empty rectangular center panel, silk on linen, 3 ft. 10 in. x 2 ft. 4 in.
