Bergama Rug, West Anatolia, first half 19th century, the medium blue and ivory cruciform center medallion enclosed by a double "keyhole" border and eight-pointed stars in octagons on an abrashed terra-cotta field, eight-pointed star in octagon main border with the bottom border interrupted by a portion of the minor border, the pale gold minor border inset with a stylized meandering vine and blossom pattern, 7 ft. 4 in. x 5 ft. 1 in.
