Sepik River Carved Wood Possible Skull Rack, c. first half 20th century, with central splayed female form extending to phallic devices and terminating in two stylized fish, the female with shell eyes, wicker attachments at both ends, traces of pigment, lg. 70 1/2, wd. 7 1/2 in.

Provenance: Deaccessioned from a New England museum.
