Shirvan "Marasali" Prayer Rug, East Caucasus, late 19th century, the polychrome boteh in lattice design on a navy field below an ivory niche and a sawtooth inner border, all within a typical ivory meandering stylized vine and bird-form main border, starburst in square-patterned minor borders, 5 ft. 4 in. x 3 ft. 7 in.
