Description:

Two Tall Stoneware Jars, America, 19th century, a three-gallon churn with applied lug handles highlighted with cobalt blue, stamped "3" on the front and with a crude incised "3" on the back; and a straight-sided round-shoulder jar with flattened collar and cobalt blue feather decoration, (imperfections), ht. 16 3/4, 11 5/8 in., respectively.
Estimate $200-250

Churn has kiln deformation and firing cracks on base, the jar has kiln touches on side.
