Carved Tiger Maple and Cherry Card Table, Rhode Island, late 18th century, the overhanging folding top with carved fluted notched edge on a straight apron with molded edge and scratch-beaded side drawer joining square-molded legs with pierced corner brackets, old surface with remnants of graining, ht. 28 3/4, wd. 34 1/2, dp. 17 in.

This table is structurally in good condition, is quite stable, and with no major replacements or repairs. There is a small patch to the fixed half of the top at the hinge. There is a small loss at the right hinge. There are cracks and repairs to the brackets between the apron and legs. The top has a slight warp. There are remnants of an old grain-painted surface under a newer refinish.
