Horseshoe-back Armchair and a Hardwood Brush Pot, China, 19th/20th century, the back splat decorated with a reserve carved with a writhing dragon above an inset burlwood panel, the outscrolled arms with dragon-form spandrels at the terminals, the seat set above a solid apron carved with pairs of chilong, the four legs surmounted by dragon heads and claw feet resting on the bracket, 37 x 22 x 27 in.
