Inscribed "The Co.../Ogunquit, Me." numbered "#262" and inscribed "$40.00" all on the stop of the stretcher, and with a partial gummed label with the number "19" also on the stretcher.

One area of probable retouch measuring 1-1/4 x 1/2 inch, located on the center right side, 7-1/4 inches in from the right edge and 9-1/2 inches down from the top of the canvas. Areas of stable craquelure.
