Signed and dated "Stancanpiano 1862" l.l.
inscribed "3245/Luis..." on the stretcher.
Oil on canvas, 24 7/8 x 48 7/8 in. (63.0 x 124.2 cm),in an ornately carved frame.
Condition: Lined, minor retouch, craquelure, surface grime.
Estimate $1,500-2,500

The lining is adhered with glue. The retouch is scattered dashes and dots, with broader glazes near the upper and right edges. The painting would benefit from cleaning.
