Nativity
Unsigned, inscribed "G.B. Paggi/sec xvii, sc genovese" in pencil in a later hand on
the reverse.
Ink and wash with faint charcoal underdrawing on paper, 9 x 6 15/16 in. (22.8 x 17.7 cm),matted, unframed.
Condition: Handling creases, mild toning, old mounting.
Estimate $400-600

Remnants of an old mounting in each corner of the reverse. Hinged with linen tape in two places along the top edge of the reverse. Foxing mostly visible on the reverse, witha few dots noticable at u.r. corner of the front. Cropped sketch of a cherub on the reverse.
