Jacob's Ladder, plate 14 from BIBLE, edition of 100, published in 1958 (Cramer, 30). Initialed "M. Ch." in pencil l.r., numbered "50/100" in pencil l.l., identified on a label from the Kanegis Gallery, Boston, affixed to the backing. Etching with hand-coloring on paper, plate size 11 5/8 x 9 5/8 in. (29.4 x 24.3 cm),framed.
Condition: Subtle toning and rippling, not examined out of frame.

Sheet measures 21 x 15 3/8 in. Framed under glass. Sheet is not laid down; hinged at top. Deckled at top and bottom. Gently light-struck. Overmat is adhered to backing board at top and right sides making a full examination difficult. Top center of sheet stuck to mat.
