Four Small Framed Items, a watercolor portrait miniature of a woman in a bonnet, a profile portrait of Joseph Fairbanks, dated 1837, a needlework sampler stitched in wool on linen with six rows of alphabets and numbers and a virtuous verse, and two illustrated pages in Arabic, ht. to 10 3/4, wd. to 12 in.

portrait of the woman is with slight toning to the background. The black surround appears to be a matting of sort, as the portrait is set further back under the surround. The portrait of the man also shows toning, the discoloration probably from an earlier frame
