Portrait of a Woman Wearing a Salmon-colored Dress and Lacy Bonnet, Seated on a Sofa. Signed and dated "R.STREET 1834" in block letters u.r. Oil on canvas, 30 x 25 in., in a period gilt ripple-molded frame. Condition: Canvas applied to Masonite, stable craquelure, scattered retouch.

Retouch of various sizes and lines to numeous areas on face, clothing, and background larger areas in hair, upper forehead, aboved left-facing shoulder, l.r. dress, light scratch u.l. backround a bout 1 1/2 in. and a stippled light scratch in hair above left forehead.
