Description:

Two Swords and Scabbards, one a G.A.R. sword with folding guard cast with shield, eagle, and trophies, and the blade engraved with "U.S." and an eagle, in metal scabbard engraved "Presented to Joe Hattersley by the Comrades of Marcus L. Ward Post G.A.R."; and a field officer's sword with folding guard cast with eagle and shield, shagreen and wire-wrapped grip, blade engraved "E.S. OSBORN NEW HAVEN" near hilt, engraved "U.S." and eagle decoration to center of blade, in metal scabbard.
