Chippendale Mahogany Ribbon-back Armchair and Butler's Tray Table, 18th/19th century, the chair with trefoil-pierce splats joining shaped arms with carved terminals and a velvet overupholstered seat on molded legs and stretcher base, and an oval tray table with square legs and X-stretcher base, ht. to 38, wd. to 36, dp. to 26 1/2 in.
chair exhibits wear to the finish, a diamond-shaped patch to one arm, repair at the junction of the arm support and the arm, a repair to the middle splat and some loss to the legs. The piece has also been refinished
