Hand-colored lithograph, imperial folio, slight mat burn, marginal thumbing, a few short closed tears, one corner chipped with loss; Plains Indians in the background stand outside a tipi, attaching a travois to another dog, the two canines in the foreground sit among bird bones, 27 3/4 x 21 1/4 in.
