Advertising broadside, printed on wove paper in wood type, minor offsetting, small water stain in top right-hand corner, toning, separations at folds repaired on verso, 20 3/4 x 13 1/4 in.
Himes delivered his talk on cutting-edge telephone technology only two years after Alexander Graham Bell received his patent on the device, and then broadcast music from Philadelphia over the phone twenty-five years before the invention of the radio.
