First edition in twenty parts; bound in nineteen limp paper wrappers, octavo, housed in two red morocco slipcases made in the form of books; with "visiter" for "sister," part IV, page 123, line 17; illustrated with forty plates by Hablot K. Browne, some advertisements removed from number ten, small book ticket of Alexander Hill, 50 Princes Street, Edinburgh on the covers of some, slipcases damaged and failing, 8 3/4 x 5 1/2 in.
