Fifteen large octavo volumes, the autograph edition, limited to 250 copies printed, of which the present set is number fourteen, signed by the publisher in volume one, frontispiece in each volume signed by the artist in pencil, bound in full crushed green morocco by Trautz-Bauzonnet, with ornately gilt-tooled inner doublures incorporating Dickens's initials with blue, red, yellow, and violet morocco onlays on a green field inside every board, cream-colored watered silk endleaves, t.e.g.; a few headcaps slightly chipped, spines faded to tan, 9 3/4 x 6 in.
