Second edition, first issue with "Boxburgh" for "Roxburgh" in list of subscribers, and correct reading "skinking" on page 263, octavo, with half-title and portrait frontispiece; ex libris Lord Napier and Robert J. Bennett, with their bookplates inside front board and on ffep; bound in full crushed red morocco, gilt spine, a.e.g., joints dry and cracking, boards somewhat darkened, 8 1/4 x 5 in.
