Large quarto, illustrated by Hugh Thomson (1860-1920),one of a limited edition of 1,000 copies signed by Thomson on the limitation page, illustrated with decorative title printed in dark green and black, uncolored smaller illustrations on thin paper, extraneous to the collation, text vignettes, head- and tailpieces, and twenty-two color plates mounted on larger sheets; bound in full contemporary parchment, spine and front board elaborately tooled in violet and gilt, t.e.g., 12 1/4 x 9 3/4 in.
