Kawase Hasui (1883-1957), Tadotsu in Sanshu, Japan, January 1936, color woodblock print, published by Watanabe, signed with seal, titled and dated on left margin, publisher's D-seal (1931-1941) on right, "shozuri" seal with a Japanese "ki" character and "w" inscribed in pencil on verso, oban tate-e, 15 1/4 x 10 1/4 in.

Condition: Slightly toned, pinhole to upper left corner, crease to upper right edge.

Provenance: Purchased in 1981 from Kabutoya Galleries, Tokyo, Japan.
