Ernest Francisco Fenellosa, An Outline of the History of Ukiyo-e, illustrated with twenty color reproductions, published by Bunshichi Kobayashi, Tokyo Japan, 1901; and an Illustrated catalog of a Special Loan Exhibition of Art Treasures from Japan, held in conjunction with the tercentenary celebration of Harvard University, September-October 1936 held at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, published in Japan.
