Pair of Compound Wardrobes, China, perhaps camphor (zhangmu), upper sections with squared frames two doors and removable stiles, lower sections with squared frames, two doors, and removable stiles, side aprons plain with stretchers, front aprons carved with square meander and floral motif, front feet with metal fitting, interiors have middle shelves with two drawers, covered storage in base, circular brass hinges and lock plates, ht. 106 1/2, wd. 55 3/4, dp. 22 in.

Structurally sound, some age cracks to doors, loss of one metal foot fitting, loss of three ring pulls on base storage covers, loss of one lock plate slide bar, one upper section damage to side panel and upper rear miter joint.
