Portable Painting Album and Two Hanging Scrolls, eighteen-leaf accordion-style album, Japan, the title in calligraphy translating to "Flowers Vying with Each Other in Beauty," fourteen flowers, each painted on a two-leaf spread on paper in ink and color, all inscribed and signed by an unidentified artist, signed "Koshu" to the inner back cover, 4 5/8 x 3 1/2; and a scroll depicting a fisherman praying for a big catch, China, with calligraphy and multiple seals, ink and light color on brown paper; and a landscape with a scholar on horseback climbing tall mountains with waterfalls and pavilions, China, inscribed with a seal, ink and color on brown silk, painting to 46 x 19 1/4 in.
