Inkstone, China, 20th century, rectangular, with rounded corners and a raised edge, decorated with a carving of Budai extending from the grinding surface to form a shaped well, the back inscribed with the studio name "Zi Shi Fang" and possibly the craftsman's name "Jiang Ai Wen," greenish-gray stone with an oval, green "eye" at the center of the grinding surface, 1 5/8 x 7 1/8 x 4 5/8 in.
