Eight Arita Ware Dishes, Japan, 18th century, square, in polychrome enamels, underglaze blue and gilt, the interior border depicting two cartouches with children and two with flowers on an overall brocade pattern, the center with an underglaze blue and gilt figure of Fukurokujin holding a ruyi scepter, the exterior border with flowers, tendrils, and leaves, four underglaze blue faux reign marks to base, wd. 6 3/4 in.
