Pair of Flambe Vases, China, 19th century, hu form, with tubular handles at the neck, the deep red glaze infused with rich purple and black accents, thinning at the corners and mouth to pale blue and creamy white, six-character Guangxu mark incised on the recessed, unglazed base, ht. 12 in., one vase drilled in base.
One vase has drilled base and has been marked, other vase has repair to lower part of handle, overall surface scratches.
