Doucai Enameled Covered Jar, China, late Ming dynasty, full S-shape with high neck and rolled rim, the body painted with four boys each holding a stalk of flowers, against a floral ground filled with foliate scrolls and flowers in red, green, blue, and yellow enamel, the dome-shaped cover with a lotus knob, unglazed base, ht. 16 in.
