Description:

Kawase Hasui (1883-1957),Four Color Woodblocks, Japan, Kasai Town in Tochigi, 1947; Night at Atami, 1947; The Bell Tower at Okayama, 1947; and Kompira Shrine in Sanuki, 1948, all published by Watanabe during the late 40s, with round seals, oban tate-e except the first one, to 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 in.
Condition: Kasai with a pinhole to top left corner; Atami slightly toned; Okayama with a crease at the right bottom corner, stains from tape on verso; Kompira slightly out of register, two pinholes on top margin, minor stain.
