Ethel Louise Paddock (American, 1887-1975)

Gloucester Harbor. Signed "E.L. Paddock" l.r. Pastel on paper, sight size 18 1/8 x 23 3/4 in., framed. Condition: Rippling, not examined out of frame.

N.B. E.L. Paddock studied at the New York School of Art and with Robert Henri and John Sloan. She and her sister, Josephine, frequently painted at the art colony in Gloucester, Massachusetts, and often exhibited together.
