Joseph Pennell (American, 1860-1926)

Waterloo Bridge and Somerset House, 1905, edition probably of 75 (Wuerth, 379). Signed in pencil "Jo Pennell imp" beneath the image l.c., identified in an ink inscription in a later hand on the frame backing paper, and with a label from Frederick Keppel & Co., New York, affixed to the backing paper. Etching on paper, plate size approximately 7 7/8 x 10 7/8 in., framed. Condition: Fox mark or small stain to l.c., small fox mark to margin l.r., gentle toning, not examined out of frame.
